To Strive, To Seek, To Find, And Not To Yield

I completed all the site maintenance, so things should be smooth sailing from here on out. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see implemented on the site.Captain Obvious

In other news, my stat counter went through the roof after that Martinez post. Apparently lots of people type in terms like "anal sex," "vibrator," and "virgin" into Google and Yahoo, because I got tons of people hitting Hyperliterature as a result of that post. Oddly enough, I've also received a lot of hits because I used the beginning two lines of an Emily Dickinson poem as the title for a previous post.

So here's my plan: From here on out I'm titling all of my posts with lines from a classic poem, and in the body of each post I'm mentioning anal sex and fellatio at least once. Maybe twice.

Hey, I gotta attract readers somehow.

You know you would have know that sooner if you had you taken the time to read Howard Stern’s most excellent autobiography. But according to him it’s the girl on girl action that really sells

  2. The sad part? I own that book. But…I did get it from the Bargain Bin at Walden\’s, so at least I didn\’t pay full price.

I think this is pretty funny. Here\’s the search string for one person who found my page: \”www.technorati.com/search/%22anal sex%22 NOT gay\”

As you can see this person went through Technorati, and evidently wanted to know about anal sex, but also wanted to make sure the search engine didn\’t think he (it\’s gotta be a guy) was gay. God forbid the search engine perceives him gay.

  3. Huh, cool. I was thinking just now, where was that virgin-vibrator post, and how’d I miss that 😛 So….. Mark…. I’ve thrown down a gauntlet atcha for a Photoshop contest… figure I’d give you another chance, since I do think I won the last one…. details on “ye olde blogge”. *maniacal laughter*

So the NSA wiretapping pisses you off, but your neferious tracking of unsuspecting web browsers and the subsequent mocking of them does’t bother your conscience in the least?

  5. No. I trust me. I don’t trust them. Typical paranoid delusions of superiority, but there you go.
