I’ve got a few video leftovers I want to get rid of:
Lewis Black’s appearances on the Daily Show are always terrific, and the one that aired on September 14th was no exception. Lewis takes a look at some of the creationist propaganda floating around, and the nonsense fundamentalists are trying to pass off as science. Click here to watch. (If you’re using Firefox and not Internet Explorer you need to right click that link and choose “save link as”)
Anderson Cooper made an excellent appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher. He’s been in New Orleans since Katrina hit, and boy does he look tired. Go over to Crooks and Liars to watch the clip.
You know that HP commercial where the guy has the empty picture frames that he keeps placing near his face? Some guy decided to make his own, and it’s pretty damn impressive.
Some people were just meant to be partners: Tango/Cash Riggs/Murtaugh Jay/Silent Bob Vladimir/Estragon Rosencrantz/Guildenstern Those were all great partnerships, but I think the Bill Gates/ Napoleon Dynamite may top them all. (That links to iFilm. If you have Norton Internet Security you may have to disable it to watch the clip. I know, I hate iFilm too, but that’s the only place hosting it)
Did you know Freddy Kreuger had his own 900 number? Neither did I. But he certainly did.
SNL’s just not the same since Will Ferrell left. I think my favorite skits of his were the celebrity Jeoparodys. Luckily, I found a web site that has every one of them on-line. If you only watch one, make it the one with Sean Connery, Adam Sandler, and Tom Cruise.
Drunk, cursing lady attacks a reporter.
And how do we know we’re making progress in Iraq, Condi? How? Well, that’s easy. Because our level of incompentency and non-leadership matches that of Sadaam’s. Next question.
