Fattest One In Three Counties

You know who Wil Wheaton is? He played Crusher on Star Trek, and he was Gordie LaChance in Stand By Me. Lately he’s been writing books and you my have seen his articles over at The Onion, or his watched appearances on some of Vh1’s clips shows. He’s kind of become a cult icon on the internet because of his enormously popular blog, and many of my fellow Gen X-er’s see him as something of a hero that appeals to the geek in all of us.

All of that is a perfectly good reason to be a fan of the guy, but I have an even better reason. Several years ago I saw a short, animated film on the internet, where characters from video games were sitting around a kitchen table playing D & D. It was one of the funniest, and from my experience, truest renditions of gaming I’d ever seen. I’ve been looking for months for that video with no success. I knew if I could just remember the name of the damn thing I would be able to find it. No luck. Finally as a last resort I emailed Wil”¦and he knew the name of it.
